Well you can plan kid any time given that you are good in health. Your friend can't get AOR whenever she want :).

@bestofluck

Thats what I t old her, now she on the basis of her child, applying for PR under H&C.

I wish I had made the correct decision lol.

This is frustrating for people who are already living here.

Their Work permits are getting expired, they have paid fees thinking results will be with in 3 months. Otherwise they could have thought of some other option

Both of you made the right decision. Both will be happy. yes i agree both will not be happy together.

If you want to live good life here in Canada and save taxes, make sure you come along with your spouses and kids.

people living there were never promised of a PR before their work permit expire, when they entered as Students. They gave you three years to earn back your money spent on education plus save something to go back and settle. why the greed now? cant they go back and come back when they get PR. No country except the 2 USA and Australia gives you PR for just being in the country.

I dont think if you know,

When students used to come to Canada, there was an immigration rule to attract students.
Come here study , work for an year in the same field you studied and get a PR.

that is why students were coming to Canada considering that option.

You guys sitting home didnt spend a penny, and competing with CEC candidates.
Of course people who are living here for years know better than you who is sitting besides the desktop and giving free misleading advises to people.

True, but if they go back, OINP may doubt their intentions as they were already in country and given AOR, but still they went back to home country. Ofcourse OINP should not, as it is because of delay from their side. But apparently they are not following all "Shoulds", and may expect that candidate must survive here anyhow to prove intention.

Hi i am December 21 applicant, I got aor on 13 June, I was asked to send new dd which I sent very next day and got the old dd back within 3 days. But I didn't get any acknowledgement for that, there was no communication after that.
I just wanted to ask, is it normal? Should I call them or e mail them to ask for application status?
What is their number and email id?
Please don't fight and answer my question

just a question. are the huge numbers in today's draw due to the other ( and possibly including some of OINP )
provincial applicants ?
so that means when we OINP guys get nominated ( hopefully in the coming few months ) , again the draws will be similar in numbers.
I hope I'm getting it right.

Score is going down and numbers of intake is increasing ;) Good sign for all of us, specially those have higher score.
