haha I visited them so many times, I know she is black, well, because she is black!, and she is very helpful. Maybe next time before you write your speech you can ask where/how I came up with that

The concern here is not to mention the race of the person. Doesn't matter if black or white! And it's not a speech, it was just an advise.

Simply think this way, will you be ok if someone mention you by your race? You could have just said, a lady. But we are here not for this debate.

Oct, Nov, Dec 2015 applicants are awaiting their AOR, NOM? Way behind 90 days declaration for AOR/NOM ?

Seems OINP would utilize the remaining year to clear backlog of Oct, Nov, Dec 2015 applicants. :'(

Jan, Feb 2016 applicants should not expect any AOR/NOM based on the trend of issuing AOR NOM.

I'm not tired of expecting. I'm tired of staring at monitor, crawling through forums, waiting to see AOR from some FSW outland close to my timeline, so I can start expecting mine!

Since 5 months, we are struggling just for AOR. Hey God, how much more struggle we would have to do for Nomination.

Not sure what Canada is gaining by making immigration so difficult, when they are much larger in land area than US and have just 1/10nth the population of US.

My documents (against Ontario Expression of Interest) were received on 09 Feb 2016.

It's been 3 Months so far and i haven't got any update regarding the same.

Please help and advice.

I have sent an inquiry about my appliaction to customer service because I was afraid that the expiry of my cheque would make my application invalid. Despite the endless waiting for AOR their process looks correct for me in terms of expired payments:

Dear XY,



Your application package is in queue for review by an officer. Due to the high volume of applications being received, Acknowledgement Letters may take longer to be issued.

If your application is complete, you will receive the letter from OINP by email to indicate that your application has been accepted for assessment.

If your application is incomplete, your package will be returned to you by Purolator including the payment.

If your application is complete and accepted by OINP, the OINP will ask that a new payment be submitted within 30 days of notifying you. Your application will maintain its place in the queue. Processing will resume once the OINP receives your new payment.


Please note that if you are in Canada, it is your responsibility to remain in legal status throughout the time while your application is being processed by our program
