December Application OINP

Just received my AOR. The letter says my package was recieved on Jan 5, 2016. I sent my application on Dec 23, and according to Canada post tracking my application was delivered on Dec 28.

Did you photocopy the cover pages of your passport and also did you copy the back of the bio page (aka the photo page with the computer chip in it.) ??

Also, did you put N/A in all of the blank fields including the second address field when it says (tick here if your mailing address is the same as current address) ??

I didn't copy the exterior of my passport. I copied everything on the inside including the pages which have your picture and information along with the page with address.

My passport has no bio /computer chip on it.

I did put N/A in all the blank fields. I did tick on mailing address same as current address and put N/A in the blank field below.

@alexander_hitch Congratulations for your AOR !!. Wish you speedy Nomination and PR.

Another forum member was also told that applications delivered after Christmas to OINP mail room - reached OINP processing office - only in 1st week of Jan.

That might be one of the reason why OINP is counting 1800 applications in Jan !

OMG I think I received my AOR today.
Application received: Dec 31, 2015.

I have a question, this month I renewed my passport (my passport can only be renewed if it's within 1 year expiration), do I need to let OINP office know about my renewed passport? Or am I okay since they already sent me AOR?

yes. send a completed change of personal info form indicating your new passport number and attach full clear copy of the new passport (all the blank pages), also update the passport field in your CIC EE profile.

send the form with the passport copy by snail mail not email, as they only accept fax or post/courier

I got an invitation to attend NBPNP session scheduled on 23rd July, their application guide stated that:

Applications are not accepted from applicants who:
• Have an application in process under another immigration program in Canada;

not sure that applies to me now I received AoR from OINP, any idea?
