Got the oath email, it is in-person. Instructions say that I need to bring a Canadian ID apart from PR card. Since my DL and Health card is expired, I am going to take my foreign passport + renewal paper of DL. Hope that works!

Honestly though, they did not ask for any of my IDs at all at the ceremony, only the PR card!

Completed my online oath yesterday. No change on tracker and no email received from IRCC.

Tried to login to my existing IRCC account and followed instructions posted by @bond7890 and was able to download the E Certifcate. So I guess the certificate is already ready, you just need to download it.

Thanks! Yes — IRCC usually sends an email between 24–72 hours explaining the process. But you don’t need to wait for that email. You can register in advance.

About a week before your citizenship oath, do the following:

1. Go to the IRCC portal registration page:
https://ircc.canada.ca/visit-visiter/en/get-account-ircc-portal

Enter your email, and you’ll receive an invitation code.

2. Once you have the invitation code, sign up here...

Everyone will be given a physical/paper certificate at an in-person ceremony.

I used my OHIP (Ontario Health Card). I asked them if I could use the temporary one (the paper one) and they said yes, in case I needed it urgently; otherwise, I would need to show them the official, laminated OHIP card.
