Hi Everyone,

I couldn't find a thread for December 2024 applications, so please let me know if this is a duplicate thread.

One question I had was based on expected timeline. What should I expect considering the estimations are forward-looking? Does the new backlog impact an older application? TLDR, I submitted on Dec 4, 2024, before the timeline estimated increased drastically, so do those increases impact my application?

Estimated forward-looking timeline as of February 19, 2025: 28 months

Yes, "completed" means passed.

I’ve noticed that IRCC is slowing down the processing time. Before, many applicants received their medical request around 8 months after submitting their application. Now, it’s taking about 11 months.
