I called CIC asking about PPR, as all my background check and eligibility check has been completed in October. The lady said she is sure that you will not get the PPR in these last days of December but she congratulated me twice and said you most probably will get PPR in January. I do not trust them though but lets see if that comes out to be true.
Timeline please

Have you called CIC asking about your Background check and Eligibility check if those are complete or not?

What I was told by CIC is that Security is what takes most of the time to complete. As, they have to verify with CBSA and other departments and foreign agencies like USA and where you have lived. While Criminality is checked through your PCC only so it is quick. Normally, if they have started checking your Security it would take anywhere from one to two months (in my case it was around 1 month) and can obviously take longer if buzy.

My ECAS shows Decion Made today! I have a Immigration Consultant so I don't know if they sent the PPR Email already. Should I call IRCC to ask? Does DM in ECAS usually mean PPR email sent?
