Just my guess, but I reckon it is because Peel Region is one of the largest regions in the GTA and also has one of the highest (if not the highest) number of immigrants.

Thank you for the reply.. Its just that other areas i mentioned has about similar immigrant numbers but Mississauga especially takes about 4-5 months more than those areas..
I guess its best to patiently wait and do nothing

I received my ceremony invitation this morning. It’s for the 5th of November.
Hopefully I’ll be ok. I have no PR card at the moment as it went missing with my all my ID’s and wallet when I was in Edmonton at the weekend

I spoke to CIC and i am still good to take the oath on the 5th November
Massive congrats to everyone who has received theirs. if not, just sit tight. It will come. It took nearly a year for myself.
A huge thank you to this forum. It’s been a real help over the past 5 years helping me get to this stage and saving me thousands in lawyers fees.

Just a note for people waiting for their Oath. I had done my test on July 11th and the Officer informed me i was ready for the citizenship ceremony and should get invited in a few weeks. After waiting for over a month, i decided to apply for my GCMS notes. I got the notes today as well as my invite for the oath ceremony. In the notes, it clearly stated as of July 11th that i had passed all assessments and i was ready for the citizenship ceremony, yet I never got an invite until today.

I find it interesting that i got the invite on the same day my gcms note was released. Makes me wonder if applying for the GCMS notes can trigger some action on your file. I don't think it hurts to try if you find yourself in the same shoes i was in.

Please how do I apply for the GCMS notes?

i have a quick question, i sent my application Dec 2018, still havenot hear anything, no test sceduled, i check the cic website, here are the info, please need advise. thanks

did u guy reciev the invitation to take the test by mail or email? should i keep waiting or call cic? who should i contact,?
