Citizenship Photo Requirements:

Clarification: citizenship photos are the same as passport photos, or are the dimensions / measurement requirements slightly different?

Thank you!
https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/application/application-forms-guides/citizenship-application-photograph-specifications.html

This link has the photo specifications required for your citizenship application. Note that you also need to:
  1. Provide the name of the photographer or the studio, the studio address and the date the photos were taken on the back of the photos
  2. Print the name of the person on the back of the photos.

Hi Guys,

I am planning to apply for citizenship. I am at the stage of filling out form and i need your help.

for question 10b) the explanation column beside country is just for not providing police certificate or I have provide reason why I have stayed 183 days outside Canada?

Question 14a)Table A) my new passport issued in 2014 and expiring in 10 years.but my previous passport which was issued in 2012 and was expiring in 2017 but stamped cancelled once I got new passport. do i need to provide reason for overlaping date of issuance of new passport with the expiry date of old passport. like why I got new passport before expiry of old passport?

Hi

Hi,
to your first question - select Yes to Required to File and Yes to taxes filed.
Yes, if you lived about 120 days in your home country then provide your address there.
Thanks for your response !!!
Even though i visited back home for 120 days my primary residence address is still in Canada only and all correspondences were received here . Do you still think i should list the back home address ? I thought we should only list the address that we lived at .

If this is the case then we should list all the address that we lived at during our short visiting trips as well to US/Mexico ??

Hi all,

I also sent my application for citizenship on December 5th, application was received on December 7th. Applying from Ottawa, ON. Single applicant. 1100 physical presence days.

No updates as of now, obviously. Just want to share my timeline so that we have more data to have an accurate idea of processing times.

Hi,
yes, list your address back home where you spent 120 days.
Don't list any short trips addresses.

Think we should only list the address if you were living there but NOT when u r visiting there ?
Even though i am on vacation back home for 120 days my primary residence/mailing address remained in Canada.
This is clear from the instructions in the application guide that specifies "live, study, work". If you visit a country, you did not live, study or work there.

Hi All,

I have a query regarding question 9C. It says have you lived outside Canada during your eligibility period. So I am applying in dec 2018 and my eligibility period starts from dec 2013. I landed in Canada in 2015, and I was living somewhere else before immigration 2015. So what should select in this question? yes or No? and when I see form, the form is for crown servant which is not applicable to me anyways.

Thanks
