Congratulations RYIT!!!

How many days did it take for you to get SA after AOR?

Thanks :)

I received AOR March 2nd and SA March 5th.

I didn't find out about SA until March 10th because the mailed the letter regular mail instead of e-mailing it like they did AOR.

You received AOR a day after me, so you could be in the same situation that the mailed SA instead of e-mailing it to you. Hopefully you'll receive it today or tomorrow at the latest if they did mail it.

Oh I see. My Aunt (the Sponsor) will not receive it until she gets home during her Day off.
Shes working in Fort Mac. She only stays at home for 2 days.
Im praying that what you said will come true to me as well.
Basing on your post, I should check the status online tomorrow, March 11th :)

wish me luck

Just checked it, still says "Application Received"

Thanks

Wow I never realized that the Mexico visa office is responsible for 20 countries to process permanent resident applications. Now I understand why it shows 18 months to process.

Congrats to everybody whose file is progressing! I'm happy for you.

I received my AOR on 4 March, but I still don't have SA. Should I be concerned??? :o

Got AOR March 3rd. Still waiting for SA

Hey, finally I just logged in to ECAS today but the thing is I logged in using my wife information (the sponsored person). I supposed that I have to put my own information (sponsor) to login. How do you login to the ECAS??!!

And here it's saying we have received your application for PERMANENT RESIDENCY on Dec 12th. It's not saying anything about the sponsorship application. What is your online status saying?

Silly question, but can I ask why when outland aps stay in mississauga that people prefer it there over their own home country?

Because Mississauga is super fast! I wish mine would process there, but I'm from the US, so I'm likely going to Ottawa.

I am using the sponsor's informations. I have three columns:
Sponsored Person - my name; Sponsorship Application Status - app received; Permanent Residence Application Status - app received

Regarding CSQ and all that mess, no new info for me either, no SA.. waiting and hoping. I really start to think they messed all QB app by sending these letters by mistake and so on.

Talked twice to CIC, they said it's the correct letter even it has the inland mistake, send it. For others they clearly said do not send it. Well, it's like a Kafka novel ???

It's really weird. I cannot login using my own information. Also when I login using my wife info, there only one line for the Permanent Residence application, nothing about Sponsorship Application.

Have you called the CIC recently?
I have a silly question, would calling CIC so many times have any bad effect on our file?

When would you know your VO?
We sent our Application to Mississauga and got AOR.
Still waiting for SA. Are we going to see our VO after we get SA?

Hey everyone I finally received SA today

Just like RYIT I got my AOR as an email and SA as a letter in the mail
I'm so happy my application is being transferred to London processing time is 29 months thoguh :O so long but atleast the process started

On the letter is says that it was sent February 25 .. I guess this means that they sent it to the London office 2 weeks ago .. am I right ?

I log in using the UCI I've got in AOR and sponsor's details. If I try with my details, they don't find me. It is strange you cannot log in with your info, but for me doesn't sound strange if in her account you see only Permanent Residence app, because that's what she requested for, right? The sponsorship approval regards the sponsor itself, he is verified and approved. This is only my opinion.

As you know CIC gave different answers, so I just wait now and see what's happening. For me there is no help what they are answering, since depends what agent you get on the phone. And anyway it will take ages the next stage... few days of waiting and see if they reject CSQ or approve, get SA or not what matters. I guess I lost my enthusiasm >:(
