YESS! I JUST received AOR. CIC received my application on December 15, 2015. I will update the spreadsheet once i get home! Hope everyone receives theirs soon!

Hello everyone I received my AOR already. I did not receive it until I called them. You have to call them if you are over 85 days. I sent my application to missisauga office on December 10th. Feb 27 I received the AOR but they only sent me the e-mail after I called them. So call them and they will ask your first name and last name for both of you and ur date of birth and will give you a verbal confirmation and later they send u email as well. Mine is SA processing now.

I called after reading the forum messages. Thank you guys. Good luck and I will keep you guys posted.

But you called them before you were at 85 days and they just gave it to you?

Ur lucky the one who i talked too just said they were just working on dec 2 application ;((( what did y asked them?

So lucky app received dec 11 no aor yet

Did you speak to a CIC rep and they confirmed that they received your file on December 11th? If they did this is a verbal AOR. As I mentioned to someone else there are people on the spreadsheet that received SA without receiving AOR.

I think it's a bit hard to apply for a visiting visa unless you have a strong proof that you will go back to your country after your ' visit' is over like employment, house, etc. If they convince that you will go back then you will get a visa, if not they will just reject the application. Some people got approved and many got rejected. usually they want proof of fund, so they will require your bank statement. Check the visitor part of this immigration forum and you will find a lot of information.

Do anyone know how to get visiting visa? will they check you bank account? will they check my husband bank account our income ? what are the requirements for a temporary visa?

Like Mazleen says, it can be tricky to get a visitor visa while in the process of an outland application. We did not have an issue because my partner is a student abroad so he has to go back for his studies, there is no way that he can stay here and that is very clear because of his UK student visa requirements. It may be trickier to prove that you partner isn't going to stick around if your partner does not have a job to return to.

Just received my SA in English and in French (they must have realized my application was in French!!! But I do speak both )
Our file is send to Paris and hopefully it will be less than 8 monthes because I have 3 teenagers who start school in September and they sure don't want to go to a French school anymore, so we'll see...
Anyway our situation is less difficult to live than couples seperate each one in their country, at least we are together. My heart goes to them and I wish them the best and fast and smooth process as possible!

Do you have AOR? if not you won't be on the system yet and therefore unable to check your application

Did you receive an email confirming the receipt of your application? If so, that is AOR.

I received that this morning, updated sheet again.

Yes I have AOR that has my uci and application file number ..
