Still new in the forum. What does these abbreviations in profiles means : File - PER - AOR. Is the File date - means the date we get the file number? next thing how can i get these details inserted in to my profile here, like they appear under some profile names. Once again thank you to all.

I am a Dec 3rd Applicant under NOC Code: 4011 . So, as of now, its been roughly 6 months since i applied for the scheme. I called CIC last month and they refused to give me any information on my case. They just gave me my UCI number and told me to get my updates from the portal.
I even asked them if the cap for my category has been filled or not? Based on that, they put me on hold for a while and told me that there was no update on my profile and had it been the cap filled case, they said they must have returned the application back as most of the applicants got their application sent back before/by end of March.

So, i got this UCI number and tried the portal which gives me absolutely no information stating
"based on the information you provided, we have no record for you on the system"

Can anyone help me out here, whats happening ?

-->File date is the date when ur application was received by CIC
-->PER is Positive Evaluation Report, the email will be send to ur email, informing you about this
--> AOR is Acknowledgment of Receipt, again an email which is send by the Visa Office... anyways, not all visa office send it...

You will be able to update these once you have made 10 posts... after that you can go to ur profile and update all these info in Forum Profile Information

once you post up to ten, you can go to profile at the top of the page to update your info.

Recently we have changed our house please advice on which email address shall I notify to cic regarding this change of address? However my mailing address is my office address which is still the same.

My visa office is LVO and still there is no 2nd line update. Shall I wait for second line update n than notify to cic or do it now?

You can email LVO directly coz your file already arrived on your VO.

Hi all,
Just tried again and this time I myself gave the info like DOB and last name, first name.
After keeping on Hold for a minute the CIC agent confirmed that my app got returned on March 3rd as the cap for 2172 had filled.
She even said since you do not have job offer and since the cap was filled we have returned your application.

That's sad...

Still, you should try for EE. Fill up your profile as soon as possible.

Hello fellow December 2014 applicants. I got confirmation that my application was received at CIO Sydney on December 24, 2014. I got my PER Email on March 22, 2015. I have not received an AOR. As I understand it not all VOs send AOR. I figure CPC-Ottawa is one of those that does not. No matter, the PER was enough for me to know that they have done that initial review and now it has gone from Sydney to Ottawa. Good luck to you all in achieving your Canadian immigration dreams.

I am from Egypt.
My Noc is 2171, and my file was received between 15 - 25 Dec.
I didn't receive anything. I am wondering what should i do to confirm if my files is being considered or not, and if not what should i do?

Also ,what is EE?
