I called CIO earlier and the agent said my app is "in process".

She also told me my payment was received but she can't say if it means my DD was encashed already.

My question is what does "in process" mean?

Am I counted in the overall cap?

I noticed in you post history your ECAS showed "in process" before you got PER.

I can only assume that what the agents are seeing in their system is practically my ECAS right? They won't give me my UCI number.

For the first time today, I got to hear that CIC had received my file. However, the contact center agent was unable to provide any information about its rejection owing to the Global Cap. God knows, why they are taking so long to inform people about caps.
