I have The same charge date as you. Take time to CIC generate your UCI number on their system. Don't worry about that.

UCI number is generated immediately upon opening of the application parcel and scanning of the Bar code page. In fact UCI generation is the first step that is done before staarting of completeness check. Because the steps followed at CIO for completeness check and charging are as under:-
1)- Open application parcel.
2)- Scan bar code page of generic application form (that is why they ask to place on top the bar code page)
3)- When bar code page is scanned UCI is generated which is primary key for your record.
4)-Start completeness check.
5)- iF COMPLETENESS CHECK is passed see CAP is reached or not if CAP is not reached then charge CC or send DD for encashement.
AND
If completeness check is failed or cap reached, then application is returned with reason of return of applcaition mentioned in cover letter.

Thank U so much managersonline, that is exactly what I have learned??? UCI no is given to all the apps in beginning. I don't know why they r so hesitating to provide us the UCI.

As I can remember, The agent told me that info 2 or 3 days before charge. But he said that had certain that my app wasn't sent back.

How is your app going? Did u call them today?

Dear Tathy the same thing was told to me today when I called the agents twice today. Both of them gave me a similar reply.
hope that seems okay so far going by your experience.

It is a bit tricky. You should ask status of your application first. The agent will ask some questions to verify that you are the applicant. After that he will tel you status of your application (if it is found in system). Now you can ask him your UCI number. But sometimes it needs several tries to get UCI number from agent. If agent is a lady usually you will get UCI number immediately. But if they say that they could not find any record of your application then it measn that your application is yet to be opened up.

Did you call direct to CIC number? Whicj time are you calling? Because everytime I try they say they are always full o f phone calls and cannot handle that...

CC will charge within the coming week... u wont hv to wait for 2 weeks... and hopefully u wud also get PER by next week

looks like your application was not detectable by Call Agents before it actually got charged at CIC.
If that's correct, could you guess any reason why it was not appearing in search strings earlier but
appeared all of a sudden on charging table?? Shocked

Did you called out to agents with your correct first/last names earlier?
or was you application along with family you being PA???

Anything you feel was causing you app to skip?HuhHuh I am into same situation and already called CIC
a number of times but all I get to hear is - No record Found in Database.
I would have to admit that my first/last names are not very clear since I don't use my last name and had put NA
on the main application in place of my last name.

Any Pointers?

I made payment via DD, it was made by my consultant and now they are unable to trace it's status. It was verified by the agent that their system is displaying that it was recieved on December 22nd but she said that application number hasn't been assigned yet.

Hi Faraz246... I too hv applied under noc 3011... Apllication reached cic on 10/12/14, charged on 31/1/2015, and received PER on 25/2/15... Payment mode was through DD, and i got to know abt the charge date only when i received the PER email... ur applications too must hv got charged, and maybe by the coming week u wud get the PER... give a call to the CIC again in a day or two...

Well, I provide my UCI number (as in my visitor visa) and asked The reason why my app was not on The system but The agent didn't know how to explane me. He just said that "Maybe your app was not oppened yet".

The fact is that everytime I call, they gave me different answears. "Not on The system" appeared 2 times.

Yes, Alvarosmr. You need to insist on their phone cuz they are always busy. The better time is 9AM (NS Time).

Just got an email......

Dear Sir/Madam,

Please be advised that your application was returned with all attachments on February 27, 2015 as the cap of NOC 2172 has been reached. A letter of explanation was provided along with the application package.

Please note: all returned applications are sent via regular mail to the mailing address as entered on the application package. There is no tracking number. Once the application is mailed, its delivery is the responsibility of the postal service. Applications are not sent via courier.

Even my app is returned on 27-Feb-2015 for subcap fillup reason for NOC 2172...I called CIC and got this info yesterday..but my question to seniors is will CIC open app package in case of Cap fill up? or just take the app package without opening and put it in a another mailing pack along with reason for return ?
