More worries for no charging in last two days....what happened???

I am realy anxious too.delivered on 23 dec.no news no updates.dont know whats happening there in cic .I wish I could find a formula they use to process the applications (if there is any formula ofcourse)

App received: 1st Dec 2014
CC charge date: 24th Jan 2015
Still awaiting PER E-mail.
Could you please confirm if anyone matching my timeline has received PER email.

Below could be the reason behind CIO staff in Nova Scotia absent today.

The weather continues to take its toll on Nova Scotia schools, with classes cancelled in parts of Cape Breton while five schools are closed in the Halifax area following weekend leaks.The Cape Breton-Victoria Regional School Board cancelled all classes today, citing the extreme cold hitting the island.Environment Canada had issued an extreme cold warning for Cape Breton and northern Nova Scotia, and says wind chill values are dropping below –35 C.

Surely this would only make sense if they were not updating PER, which they seem to being regularly so must mean they are in the office I do this??

One more question? How likely is it that my visa office will decide that I'm not eligible? Has something like this happened before?

Well i am surprised to know that no one from 24 dec charged after my cc charged

Wen i was least expecting it

I m now thinking that might be my app reached on 23 dec and DHL updated received date as 24 coz DHl forawrd courier to third party to deliver parcels in NS
And they get update late after third party updates them

Well it will be cleared when My ecas will activated in few days
I am anticipating this because i kbow i cant be that lucky and single applicant to be charged for 24 dec

Its now 2.5 yrs i m struggling for visa and nowhere -

Applied in 2013 , courier got late by 1 day and i was out of Cap
Then applied on 7 may 2014 , that app is stuck and NDVO doing nothing
Applied MpNp that i withdrawn cz i got PER in fsw
Then this app of 24 dec which got charged yesterday
Also applied in EE which is very uncertain

God knows- wat will happen
I made 5 apps in 1 year and still nowhere

I hope things will turn out your way.

Dear gentle brothers-in-immigration for December 2014 NOC 2172 (ladies are not included, obviously ), Just had a conversation with CIC agents. I had filed an application that had reached CIC Nova Scotia on 29th Dec 2014. My NOC is 2172, derp. He told me that my application was opened very recently and is under review. Further he told me that I will get an acknowledgement by 9th March (Sangatsu kokonoka FTW!). I was also given UIC or UCI or whatever it is called. It is yet not live on ECAS, just checked. I used DD for payment so I guess it may take a bit longer, if it makes into cap, especially in the really bad weather these day in Nova Scotia. I believe, atleast till now the cap is not reached as her system was showing that the application is under review. Hope and Wait and mean while make lots of lady-friends ;D ;D ;D to pass the time.

Hi,

I sent my file in first week of December which was received on 8th December but Canada post confirms as delivered on the 10th of Dec. Signed by MK.
I applied under 0121. My bank says they can not see the Bank draft which may mean it has been encashed but they aren't sure. Has anyone else received the AOR for the same date. I know for a fact that the cap is not full since there were less than 100 applications received in this category.
