Hi Mohit,
I am an 12 Dec app , DD payment method and the waiting is killing me. I was thinking to call them today and see what is my status but was wondering what information should I give them to able them to trace down my application since I have only my appl date only. Can you shed some light? Also, Can you send me their phone #?

Dont waste your breath before 20th Feb, They might not answer.
Here is the detail to reach them.


Try this method.

Call on 1-613-944-4000. (International number) Try with Skype or magic jack (free calls to Canada)
Use options 1 1 1 Line will be transferred to CIO.
Use options 1 1 3
You will be asked application number thrice. Do not enter anything.
Line will be transferred to a CIC call centre officer..

Ask for the UCI number giving the reasons why you want the same. They will ask you some details which you need to provide. If you are lucky you might just get the UCI number.

Best advice I can give: Go out to a movie, do something you like.. stop worrying and just keep on living.
Nothing you can do about your application other than waiting now, so might as well not worry, whatever happens you cant affect the results by worrying, so people stop posting telling us how you worry.

There is absolutely nothing you can do at this time, but wait for at least 1 more month.

Assuming no news by then, you could call CIC and ask for status of your case.
Thats all.. no point posting expressing worrying here, or worrying at all since you cant do anything about the situation, why worry?
