Thank you so much for your detailed explanation. Among the medicals, I was told to submit CV and military booklet which I already did it on 27 June. So far, I was not requested to submit PCC.

I would say yes - that on an average it could take from few weeks to 3 or 4 months mostly depending upon the complexity of the applicant's application. example, one pcc from native country vs multiple pccs where latter could delay the process.

I did my medicals on 3rd june and tlu is sometime post 20th june (i delayed to check everyday)...still awaiting PPR coz I had to submit 4 pccs and the last/4th pcc was received by WVO was on 14th july. In this forum, I was told I may expect PPR between 15th to 30 th sep.

Another factor, I noted in the forum that security check will be done by 3rd party agencies where CIC has no control over the 3rd party agencies over the time consumed by them while doing the check.

Any corrections or questions pls let me know.

The institute I am working now is going under ownership changing. Institute becomes very small and number of students dropped drastically. Will it be problem when they find it’s a small institute? What I heard they are going for downsizing. Should I inform CIC?-

1. Ownership of Institute changing.
2. I could be jobless.
3. Request them for early background (site) check.

What if I remain jobless for next few months? My last 6 years job experience is under this NOC 4214 and in the same institute. Will they drop me for being jobless? Or will it delay my application process?

After AOR on May 13, 2015, no news.

It doesnt matter if you become jobless. Your experience within last 10 years from the date of applying would count. However you are obliged to inform your VO in case you actually become jobless. You may also inform them about the change of ownership as a reason for down sizing. No harm in it. As far as Background checks are concern, I personally believe that they do not welcome suggestions on how to go about BCs from the applicant. Let them do their work the way they feel appropriate. Just dont panic, you did not do anything wrong and whatever is going to happen, you will not have any control over it. Just be truthful and straight. All the best.

You can expect Good News bro, My time is aslo near to your time line. We did our medicals on Aug-10 and Hospital has uploaded on 11-Aug, Till now
no TLU , I am little bit worried about that. :-\

Dont worry we did our medicals on 27 May and tlu on 2 June but still no Decision made/ FLU. But in your case no need to worry , you will get tlu next week hopefully

I don't want to sound harsh.. But DM before TLU is not a good sign. Did you check with your hospital if your meds were ok?

2nd line updated on 7th August

But I received the following reply from MXH 3 times in last one month.

This application is in queue to be processed by an immigration officer.

Usually people get MR soon after 2LU, but it is not the case here.
