I have been following the conversations here very closely... a few questions from the seniors.

Is it possible that CIC can inform us that our cap is reached after an AOR?

MY TIME LINE IS AS FOLLOWS-

NOC: 0015
Applicatioin Recieved: 18 Dec 2014
PER: 7th March 2015
AOR ( Colombo) : 9th April 2015

I am getting a little stressed now ...as ther is no correspondence since then


Would appreciated some guidance.. Thanks

Dear returned packages are sent through local post.. so will never have tracking no..

Well personally i think u will receive within 7 to 10 days and also u should contact ur concerned post office regarding any envelope on ur name ..

I think you now have to wait for like 30- 60 days according to the experience people here. I submitted my application this same day but am yet to get my AOR too. You must have been the lucky one...

Hi everyone,

I checked my application status by calling on the helpline last month and they said that my documents are returned due to cap reach of my category. Documents were sent back on 27th Feb 2015 according to the helpline. I have still not received them. How much time does it take to get back the documents? Is there any way to check the status of the package where it is. I sent my payment through a DD which was part of the parcel. In case my parcel never reaches me how I will encash my DD here?

If you've got your PER, it means you are within the cap. The people whose applications are being returned never got PERs. Stay hopeful, friend. You know what they say, it's not over till it's over.

Thanks. Someone else in another thread also told me something similar. PER = You should be OK. If when they do the PER one of the things they check is to make sure the cap hasn't been met, it just makes sense they would make sure the overall cap hasn't been met either. Thanks for the encouragement!

My application was received by Sydney CIO on December 24, 2014. I received the PER email on March 22, 2015. (88 days later).
