DECEMBER 2014 FSW APPLICATION SUBMISSION

Hi Guys,

I have a situation for a friend of mine that applied for FSW on December 2014.
Their application arrived on December 29th.
We have been fearing what everybody is been saying: That the general cap was filled during that day.
So, yesterday they received the documentation back with a letter. Which was no surprise.
But the letter makes reference to an application for the Canadian Experience Class (CEC)!!!
We obviously made sure the right type of application was used, and the proper documentation was attached.

Our feeling is that they just attached the wrong explanation template.
So our question would be, should we called them and demand an official explanation?
If they confirm the error, and they just applied the wrong template, how can we assure that the application wasn't misplaced, and lost a spot just because of that?
It is very serious when they provide official documentation with wrong information, particularly when the spots for December 29th were limited.
What do you guys think?

Yes, you definitely should get in touch with CIC, and let them know about this. I read about this other poster here, that he received his application back with the reason that his CELPIP results were not attached. He sent the application back with an explanation letter, and they considered it, even though it was mid January by then. It's worth a shot, right?

Hello Kevin. U can wait about 10 days to call them to know about your app, so I think tomorrow they have The right position.

Guys a quick question from me aswell , does the PER mail includes information about the local visa office to which the case is transferred or do we get a seperate mail informing us the local visa office to which the necessary documents are to be mailed ? Thanks

No it doesn't. Your local visa office will email you once they received your docs from CIC called "AOR". But please also know that some VO don't provide AOR. If this is your case, your next email will be MR.

Call them today. I have almost the same timeline (PER 31/3/2015) I called them and got my VO.

Hi nonasingh! May I know what time did they receive your application on dec29?

We are the same noc 1212 and received on dec 29 9:37 am but I did not receive any PER nor cc charging.

I got info from my bank that CIC attempted my card twice yesterday (a minute interval) and couldnt go through. What i discovered was an error from my bank who placed hold on my account without informing me.

My bank has removed the hold and the account is free to be debited. In this case, will CIC attempt to debit again or should i call CIC and explain and that they should go ahead to debit my account.

please this is urgent.

Someone shared that cic will try to charge thrice / once per day. Good that you were able to check before the 3rd try of charging.

Hi Guys, I got my PER on 01 Mar, 2015, and haven't recieved any other update from them yet. I called CIC yesterday, and a rude lady officer said that they have no idea whether the file has been transferred to the VO or not, and if yes to which VO it has been transferred. What should I do? pls advise.
