So happy ;D to share that I received my PER email from my consultant today. I actually received it on 30th evening 8).

My timeline is

App reached CIC, 29 Dec 2014 9:36 AM (NS) by Donnie
Credit card Charged on 9th March 7:45 PM (IST)
PER email received 30th March 11:17 PM (NS)

Now joining MR ClUB

I am in the same boat Kerdek. I think management related NOCs are not on priority at the moment. You might have observed that following NOC groups are processed on priority.

1 Business, finance and administration occupations
2 Natural and applied sciences and related occupations
3 Health occupations
4 Occupations in education, law and social, community and government services

I maybe wrong here but this is what I see.. Your views on this??

Where did u hear that CIC resumed charging for NOC 2172? Please clarify.

There was a reported charge for 15 dec 2014 applicant. (Not a member of the forum). I heard 22nd December are in the spreadsheet.

I just phoned at 0016139444000 regarding to know my file status, a lady has told me that i cannot have information regarding immigration on phone call and has to send an e-mail to CIC to know the status,..................... I dont know how u people are getting info, plzzzzz help

Called CIC, my app was returned 12 March due to global cap reached :/

Yes, Those i mentioned above. If you analyse most of the NOCs are from these groups.

Not sure whether u chose the right navigation no. Hence reposting the calling procedure.

Use google hangout, Skype or magic jack since the calls are free

Follow the below procedure to call CIC call centre

1. Download Google Hangouts (optional) on your phone if it has an android or an apple OS.

2. Dial CIC (+16139444000). It costs nothing if you are done with option 1.

3. Navigate through IVR (1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 3, 1).

4. IVR will ask your application id. Don't wait for it to ask for 3 times before it routes you forward, just press # and it will instantly ask for your year of birth in 'YYYY'. Put the year of your birth.

5. IVR will tell you the waiting period before your call can be answered by an agent. Or if the call traffic is too high, it will ask you to call again later.

6. As soon as you get to the agent, tell them ur NOC and app date and ask for the status. Agent will ask for your last name, first name and date of birth. Once the agent tells u the app status then ask for it file no. And UCI

I see...As per CIC 2172 sub cap filled (saw this in letter sent by CIC to me) and recently I believe the overall CAP reached...

If ur ISD connection is active u can make a call but it will cost u a bomb

If u have skype ID then I advice u to make a call using it
