On which date 25 000 applications filled ?

The letter does not specify when 25000 filled but it must be on early 29th or before. My app was recd at 9.36 AM on 29th Dec.

I have tried calling CIC for couple of times using magicjack app, but i get the report that 'we are currently experiencing large volumes of calls, you can hang up now and call back later'. Is it always like this?

Hi, I'm new in the forum.

My file reached NS the 23rd December and I was charged the 19th February (CC). I haven't received PER yet. Today I called CIC and a lady told me that my file is in the system, in process and that I should receive a letter of acknowledgement before 31st March.

What does that mean?

In process means ur docs are being checked and any moment u will receive the PER
So relax and keep checking ur mailbox

Did they cash ur credit card?

I applied to 2172 and app received on 29 Dec 2014. I sent the application from USA.

I received the package back yesterday along with a letter of explanation from CIC stating that app is being returned because it reached after 25000 completed applications. Letter is dated March 4, 2015.

EE points are 324 so the dream comes to an end (may be for something better somewhere).

There were few Dec 29 applicants who got charged.
But no signal from Dec 30 and 31.

He has An official letter from CIC?

He has a letter from CIC regarding a friend of mine who applied before me stating that the Cap was filled, he keeps sending emails from Lawyers forums discussing the issue of reaching the cap without the CIC updating the website, it shows that 9000-10000 applications were received at December end of month.

It's normal to get such messages but keep trying to get hold of the call. There is no particular time when CIC agents are free

I have checked at my bank's end & they have confirmed me that DD has been debited. But I have not received any mail for further course of action.

Please help & advice.

And do u know when the overall cap was reached?!

Hi!

CIC doesn't send emails when do the charde/encach.
Now you know that u were encached and need to wait for your PER, wich is the first communication from CIC to you.
What is your timeline?

Wait for 25 to 30 days from the date the DD was encashed.....

I've applied for the NOC 2712 on December 19th.. Mode of Payment is CC.. I didn't have any application status yet.. and the fee is also not charged

Do any of you know how can I check my status?

I do not wish to break your heart but the bitter truth is that 2172 Applicants should have got the CC/DD charging confirmation long ago..my friend's application (2172) was received on 17 / 18th of Dec and couple of days ago he got an email from CIC stating that Cap had been filled for that NOC.

Now it is the time to apply in EE.

Don't let your Hope die down!

Did not expect the full quota to fill up.
