Call cic and ask about your application's statue, i am 29/12 applicant and i called them..

What did the agent told you exactly when you called? Did you ask about your DD?

When I called they said they have received my app as well as the payment..

I asked if I already has UCI number he said not yet.

Im just wondering if he can see my app on their system, wouldnt it have a file number already?

When i called a week ago they told me that my application was under review and they gave me my file number although i did not ask for it, i tried to check online but it says that they can not verify me..

I called again yesterday, the agent told me that since i got my file number it means that they received my application and that they cashed the money And that other wise i wouldn't be given a file number which is different from UCI, he told me that since i have a file number i also have a UCI but i dont need it since i have file number.. When he checked online it only said that my application was delivered to them on 29/12 and that's all..


I called my bank and they did not tell me if my DD was encashed will try to call the bank again..

Dear All,

I want to express my deep sadness. I also hate people who has submitted two applications and got PER. In our forum itself I noticed most of them applied two applications.

The reason I hate because of Global CAP. CIC informed clearly and sent my application stated that the reason for GLOBAL CAP.

You may deduct money for two application but other who lost their hope because of Global CAP they won't get chance due to AGE and other factors.

PEOPLE STOLEN OTHERS CHANCES...THIS IS NOT GOOD

100% agreed don't worry will get better chance. for sure better than this. Think good have good. if someone is not getting with single application wont get it even with three. Good Luck

I made two calls to CIC today. Just to check if a different CIC rep has a different song to sing. This gentleman I spoke with, asked me for the date my application was delivered to them and reiterated that due to the huge number of applications received over the last few days of 2014, the initial 'completeness check' phase has overshot its normal processing time of 6 weeks. Also, he stated that it is unlikely for me to hear anything at least until end of March.


He did not ask me any of my details.
