its kinda a weird situation .called cic last night .a polite lady checked the system and told me : The system says we have receieved your application and there is no more information.wait till 3rd of March then call again.no news for encashment of CC .Noc 0113 receieved on 23rd Dec

If yes , when should it start as I still have no news except the UCI no that CIC agent gave me

Hi guys, i filed my application on 12 dec, and got cc charged on 05 feb, i applied from a consultant,i asked her yesterday that if she has receievd any UCI number or any file number, and when i am suppose to recieve the PER. She said that she hasnt recd anything, and most likely to recieve the PER in next 2 months.. is this true.. or is she dumb ?..is there any way i can get the correct info of wats going on?.. pls help seniors.. :'(

I have the same timeline as yours - app recd on 12th Dec. CC charged on 5th Feb. PER has been sent to people with app recd date of 5th December, as of now. My guess is that we should be getting our PERs in about a week to 10 days, max. Keep the faith, brother.

Well make another try to call CIC to get UCI... You will not loose anything except cost of the phone call ...Hence it might worth to call & try.... cause some representatives are more cooperative than the others...

Hey Nadim...i wont be paying anything for calling the CIC...as i call from the skype...even u can try through skype...free of cost... ;D...u said it right...there is no harm in trying again...will try today...

It takes 1-2 week extra to get DD encashed as compare to CC. I will recommend to check with your bank for DD status. My bank took 5 working days to confirm that DD got encashed.

I am also in the same situation, App date 12.12.14 charged 05.02.15 but still waiting.

20 days is the fastest, hope we break that record and get PER today

i doubt that, the earliest we can receive PER is feb 27/28

Don't stress

Yeah, just read about the 8th Dec PER just now. So, maybe it'll be our turn end of this week or early next week.

When I asked the guys in the forum and also checked with my consultant all of them informed me that I will receive the PER very soon (a couple of weeks) not a couple of months, but to be honest I didn't get anything yet.
Your consultant maybe playing it safe and doesn't want to give you an exact date because these things are hard to predict so my advise is try to call CIC and get from them your UCI and then wait and be patient. I think within these couple of days we will hear the good news soon.

My file recevd by cic on 22.12.14 and according to my bank my dd cashed on 20.2.15 NOC--0911
I have uci number as i visit canada as a tourist any one please tell me how to check ecas or it can only be check after getting PER??

Yes... i think Kerdek... i should try calling CIC again...will do that today...lets see what happens next... we all are in the same boat...lets hope for the best...but waiting kills me sometimes... :'( :'(
