Please quickly send your application if you are yet to. Mine is held up in NB canada and i was told bya staff of UPS that they have lots of parcels to deliver this festive period.

Looks like our applications are stuck at the same location....I was so looking forward to my application being delivered today

I am applying from India....and payment through DD...receiver general for canada ....whom shlud it b payable...New Delhi or Canada????


Also all the DD isued are valid upto 3 mnths only .....so what suld we do if the app takes more than 3 months???
i've checked all the banks....none is giving a DD validity of 6 months!!!!

You can get a 6 month validity DD from ICICI bank. The DD should be made payable to "The Receiver General for Canada", this should be payable in Canada

Hey buddy,
You need to take the DD on canada commission name. Please refer the official website for more details. Anyways 3 months for DD is fine since CIC will charge you or let you know the status within this time only.

And yeah i know about the time difference. When I updated I was talking about the status that was updated at 4:30am (US Time) that the package was going to be held at the NB Warehouse and is thus delayed. Christmas is really not making me happy this year

I just submitted my application via UPS.

They said because of the location.i.e.Sydney, they can't get it there by tomorrow. So it would be delivered on December 24th.

My NOC code is 2172.

By the way, my friend said I am suppose to add 2 extra envelopes and address them to myself. I wasn't sure so I sent my application like that, and added 1 plain brown envelop though.

After 13days results are available online. Then it depends on courier services. Mine was delivered after 2-3days.

IN MY CASE IT WAS ON 3RD DAY..
