so just wondering ;as generally considered that S.S contains 25% of total applications because at the time of Last CIC update(total 16000 Apps), S.S contained around 4000 apps.
so if we multiply these 22 with 4 which equals 88; A big number just for 3 days.
But I do hope 2172 being I.T professionals which usually spend more time on internet/searching must have more percentage in S.S than 25% :'(

I am curious, how do you analyze the SS, and count amount of applications per day for a certain NOC?

I am not an Excel expert, all my attempts to get such statistics have failed.. I can filter by 2172, I can filter by app rcvd date (say, Dec) - but for the life of me, I cant figure out how to get amount of applicants per day...

I use Excel 2013

I think quite a few applicants keyed into the SS post the 16,000+ CIC count. A simple analysis of the SS reveals that 672 entries or 12% of total entries as of 4hours ago were entered in 2015. So in my opinion, the overall % of applicants in SS to applications received by CIC may be c.35%.

If all you want is NOC applications received per day, the easiest way is to go to the "NOC by Recvd. Date" tab and you'll get all the summaries there. If you need more data then you will have to do more filtering in the "FSW14 Applicants" tab.

No, Excel can do those statistics, I just dont know how to manipulate the pivots to get the count of applicants by day...
