My husband did. we got our SINP approval last December 5 and has already submitted our papers for PR in Sydney through our agent. Awaiting for the next step..

Hello! My husband got nominated by SINP and in December 2013 we applied for PR to CIO Sydney thru our agent as well.
We are already in Saskatchewan (with a work permit).
Does anybody know the processing times for the PR?

I have applied for PR on November 2013 and got the medical request on December 30th. So you should be receiving the Medical request in 4-6 weeks and I have noticed that it takes about 5-6 months after the medicals are received at their office if they do not request any other documents ( with documents requested probably 1-2 months extra because the time you send and they they receive and update itself is around 2 weeks).
I hope well for everybody and you will receive the medical request soon.

I am new to this forum. I know you were asking for processing times for Pr after nomination but perhaps you could share your views about my queries.

My husband got his nomination today. He applied in June 2013. We are outside Canada right now and wanting to know how my husband could secure the work permit? Can he flag pole in Edmonton Airport using his multiple entry visitor's visa (valid until 2015) along with nomination letter and job offer? Can he get his work permit in the airport? Also can I and our 2 kids could flag pole with him altogether since we have all our multiple entry visitor's visas as well?

Hey Can0106, after we got nomination we applied for a TWP in our home country (Argentina) and it was approved in 35 days so when we land in Saskatchewan we've already had that permit. I'm not sure what would be the proper procedure in your case.......i'm sorry...
For all the rest: we were told that usually if you apply for a PR once you are already in Canada the process take less time than if you wait in your country......is that correct? We applied over a month ago to CIO, Sydney and we don't even have a case number yet......is that normal?
