To invite my father to visit, I need to submit the recent Notice of Assessment as a proof of income. The problem is, they recalculated it, and I owe $500. In the consulate, do they care if I'm square with the CRA, or do they only want to see the officially indicated income? I will sure pay the $500, it's just that the new Notice will take several weeks, and I was going to send the invitation documents already now. Thank you!
