Hi,
I came to Canada as a student and now working under post graduate work permit.
I have credit card loans close to $10,000. I can't afford the minimum payments.
So, I am planning to apply for debt settlement program.
My debts will be paid and I will be paying the settler a minimum amount for 4 years.
During this time I won't be able to use my credit cards or apply for new credit.
I want to know that if I apply for this settlement, will it affect my permanent residence application in the future?
