I submitted an application for PNP Non-EE in March '25, still have a long way to go but my mothers health is failing rapidly and we don't think she will be with us much longer.
Obviously I have decisions to make about whether to stay in Canada or go home to spend as much time with her as I can. I am wondering if frequent visits home will affect my application? My boss is fine with me taking time off and my job would be safe. I just want to know if they request payslips later on and see I've been home for a month or two within the processing time, would that be an issue given the circumstances?
Of course getting PR is not my biggest issue right now but I'm trying to think rationally about the next year of my life.
