Hey friends,

I am confused and I would really appreciate your help .I have received my final grade on my university's website first and then only after two month from that at least I got my transcript that mentions 'degree conferred' and then my degree was sent out ,so I am wondering about which point precisely the deadline of 180 days is counted from ,I would really appreciate your help .

Thanks in advance .

Eligibility criteria
Inside Canada graduates
You can apply for a post-graduation work permit (PGWP) from inside Canada as long as you’re eligible.
You have up to 180 days to apply for a PGWP after you get your
  • degree or diploma
  • transcript or
  • official letter from your school
To be eligible, your study permit must have been valid at some point during these 180 days.

It's usually when you get the transcript and official letter.
Same thing happened with me, I got my grades in April, but letter and transcripts came on May 18th. So that's the day one should be counting the 180 days from.
