Deadline extension for passport stamping

Hi all,

I am facing a difficult situation where I am unable to collect my passport from the authority right now due to religious holidays in my country Bangladesh. I received a CPCO final request mail in my email account on the 16th last month and it took me a week to actually confirm that it was a valid mail from cic as I didn't get any message in my cic profile nor my timeline showed any changes.

Anyway my passports have 6 months validity and I gave them for renewal and it may take a few more days after 16th of August (deadline for submission of passport) for me to actually get it back.

I have submitted the situation through a webform to cic for a possible time extension. All I need is 4-5 days extra because of the week long religious break in my country.

If I somehow miss to submit the passport on the 14th which is the only last working day of my country before the deadline, will it be an issue if I submit my passport and documents on the 20th? It's just 4 days after.

Please help in this case

You have to inform them via CSE as these instructions are mentioned in your Final Request email. Any request to extend the period of passport stamping beyond the 30 days has to be informed to them via CSE and they will issue the extension but I dont think they will accept your passport submission if you are overdue. You can confirm with VFS.
On a side note: The profile doesnt change and you dont get a profile update when you get PPR, this happens only after you submit your passport and the visa gets stamped on it.

Thanks a lot for the info. I already gave a letter throught that yesterday. I didn't know it was called CSE.

Now what am I supposed to do for the moment? If 14th doesn't work, should I wait for the extension or should I try to go to vsf regardless on the 19th or 20th

Yes its called Case Specific Enquiry
As soon as you can visit VFS and check with them. Also tell them what you did as in sending a CSE
