* Days outside of Canada *

Hi everyone,
A friend of mine told me that the days that we spend out of Canada are counted as 2 times more. That is, if I spend a week outside of Canada, it is counted as two weeks. I go to my home country every summer for a few months and I got worried. I made a quick Google search but I couldn't find anything about it. I was wondering if this is true or not ? I'd appreciate any help ! Thank you !

Your friend doesn't know what he/she is talking about. Days spent outside of Canada are not counted twice. A week outside of Canada is a week outside of Canada - nothing more.
