Hello guys,

I am wondering if the "Date Read" column in the online application is of some significance. Under the Application/Profile details, we have this row of messages which has three columns -- "Subject" | "Date Sent" | "Date Read"

I have been checking my online profile almost everyday but the date under Date Read was January 3rd, 2018 since, well, january 3rd but today morning it changed to January 10th, 2018. So I am guessing this is the date that reflects when the immigration office opens my case and reads/updates something in it.

I may be completely wrong. anyone has any thoughts on this?

No, it has nothing to do with that. It is the date when you read the messages that they send to you.

That's weird. Cos I know for sure that I haven't re-read the message since the day I got it. And the timezone is the same of Ottawa.

Anyways, thanks for replying!

you're overthinking this, that's not how the messages section works

I noticed the same thing. The 'date read' of my AOR and both ADRs are the exact same date, hour, and minute. I know that I didn't open all 3 of them in the same minute last week. In fact, I haven't opened them in over a month.
