"Date of test results" on Express Entry profile

I'm confused by this. Do they want the date next to the test report form number on the certificate, or do they actually want to know when I learned my result? The description says "What date did you receive your language test results?", so I'm guessing it's the latter, but I've seen at least two people online say it's the former. Thanks.

i think so...date the results was signed or released....different from date of test

Its mentioned at the bottom of the the IELTS TRF..next to test report form number.

How do you know that's what they're after though?

They will only follow the dates mentioned in your IELTS TRF as that's the only 'real' evidence for your IELTS results.

I received my ITA on April 11th, 2018. During the submission of my express entry profile , under the IELTS Test RESULT DATE section i entered March 14th,2018 because my Test report form had that date but in that test report form my nationality was printed wrong so by now i received a new Test report form with the printed date below as April 10th,2018. Should i change the dates to April 10th, 2018 during the submission of my E-par profile or decline it?

Your IELTS test result should be valid before you get the ITA. In your case they were valid but the due to the error in the report, the date has changed. So here is what I'll suggest, upload both the copies of the report and explain the same in LOE.

Talk to your ielts test coordinator in your test center. They will print and give you a new test report form
