Ok so heres what happened.
This year, April 5 2014 my partner applied for a working holiday visa. We were not common law yet- our date of official common law is April 15. SO he put on the application single. Later, he tried to change it once the date had passed but they said no sorry, its too late once you have filled out the forms and sent them in. So, he was issued the visa end of May (after we were common law) as single.
Now I am worried that our application will be messed up, maybe they will look back at his work visa holiday and say, why was he issued a work holiday as single in May if they say they were common law in April. Should I write a letter to explain to them? Or do you think they will look at the date he applied and understand?
