Hi there,
I am filling out my application for Citizenship and i am having some issue with expiry dates and date ends.

Example 1:
From 2015-08-08 to 2017-11-17 and im getting this error.

ASSESSING YOUR ELIGIBILITY
The format you entered in the following field was incorrect:
10. a) Address number: 2 To Date The correct format is:
To date must be greater than From Date


Example 2:
Date issued: 2012-04-26 - Expiry date: 2022-04-24

ASSESSING YOUR ELIGIBILITY
The format you entered in the following field was incorrect:
14. Expiry Date

The correct format is:
Expiry date must be greater than Issue Date


Example 3:
Date obtained: 2013-05-29 - End date: 2018-05-29

ASSESSING YOUR ELIGIBILITY
The format you entered in the following field was incorrect:
13. End date (YYYY-MM-DD) if applicable.

The correct format is:
End date must be greater than the Date Obtained/Effective


Can someone please explain what i'm doing wrong?

Are you using the calendar form or typing the dates into the field? I revimmend using the calendar form that pops up when clicking on the arrow.
 
I have tried both calendar form and manual typing and it is still giving me errors.
 
Also, can you share some screenshots? (please hide any personal information)
 
Can you try changing the date/time format of your system to be yyyy-mm-dd?
What version of Adobe Acrobat Reader do you have?

I ended up using another computer and the dates was fine! The issues is with my Mac.

Please don’t forget to remove the shared screenshots (even if they didn’t include much info)
 
Hi Im having the same trouble. I filled out the form over a week ago and it wouldn't validate and it gave me the same reasons. So I came on here, read through the thread and as I was using a mac figured that might be the issue. So I had to wait a couple of weeks to get my hands on a none mac computer. First I had to download adobe reader then I filled the form out today and now I am getting the same validation error.

Does anyone have any other suggestions?
