Date and Place of last entry to Canada greyed out?

On the Generic Application form, question 11...it asks for the date of my wife's last entry to Canada. We went as a family in July 2006 for a holiday.However, it is greyed out on the form and she cannot fill it in online. We have already validated the application, so I was wondering if she should just add it in by hand over the greyed out area, since she actually has been in Canada once.

I believe it only asks that question (doesn't shade it out) if you state that you are currently "in" Canada. If they shaded it out, they don't want you to put anything in there, leave it alone.

You are currently out of the country and you have to indicate that she was in Canada previously.
It will be greyed out if you don't input prior to validating and printing.
