Ya, it may be for some Fields,

But I Guess you are going for technical jobs, or IT related jobs,
many big IT companies have their offices in st. john, Moncton and other cities in NB

and another advantage is its proximity to Big cities like Montreal, Quebec, Halifax etc,

Both the universities are fine, and you will find employment easily,
you can check the course contents of both programs,
