Dakar, Senegal applicants

A year to go in process... oh my goodness!!!! ??? Just crazy... but good news all the same. Someone said in another thread that they will be adding officers in the Dakar office. Has anyone heard this?

JoeUH I think you are about 2,5 months from the end of the process. You may have received PPR yet or will receive it next week.

Dakar is sending PPR to all applications transferred to them in November 12. The last PPR sent was for applications transferred on 24 November 12 (I got the news from a French forum). So I give it 2 weeks before they start application transferred on December 12. We are getting closer....

Greetings to every one. Am new in this forum. i have letters out to Metro Credit Unions in the Maritime Provinces in Canada and am waiting for their response. i would like to know after receiving acceptance and necessary documents from Metro Credit Unions, how long will it takes to issue a visa if i apply for it? i need help please

We just got our PPR last night, dated November 22!! They asked for us to redo our medicals, and said that we have to wait 6-8 weeks after the medical results to send our passport in by courier. Hopefully once the passport gets there there won't be much delay!!

checked my status this morning and it went from application received to IN PROCESS ouff after a year hopefully ppr Monday that will be sweet!!

Hi ,I sponsored my wife (INLAND) she has a minor non accompanying dependents , on September 2012 Dakar send email for additional documents (IMM0008, IMM5406, passport copy ,passport size photos, original birth certificate and other proof showing a relationship between the children's and their mother in canada (principal applicant) which we haven't sent in along with my wife (Principal applicant)sponsorship app to vegreville initially , so she sent in all the requested doc to DAKAR since then no word from dakar even though they are exempts for the Background check as they are minors Dakar received their medical results already my wife she's so stressed now because Vegreville cannot finalize her application and issue her COPR without Dakar confirmation, any body have any idea how long will probably take for such kind of case?

Wow

I am glad I found this thread. I have sent my application last december and it was received on December 12 and sponsorship approval issued on January 4th. My application has been in Process in the CIC database since November 26, 2013 and view on November 29, 2013. When I read JoeUH post I realized that our applications have the same update regarding the In Process day. I am still waiting for PPR and do not know when. I am so anxious.

Can anyone please tell me when I should expect it? JoeUH keep our status up to date

By next week you should receive a PPR if not try to sent them an email to ask an update for your file. You have to include all information need to identify your file correctly. Then if they already sent you a PPR in a wrong email address, they will resend it to the one you used to contact them. I hope this will be helpful.

Thanks Osdamour for your quick reply. I will do just that. I had a friend in a french forum and he was telling me that all the members that applications were received in December in that forum already got their PPR.

I will send them an email to see. I will keep my timeline updated

Exactly I'm also a Member of a French Forum and all December 12 Applicants whose Applications were received by the 31 December 2012 Had already received PPR from Dakar Visa Office.

It would be nice if you give me all your stats in the same format I did (look at on the left of my post)
