Given that you are likely not paying into the tax base while working remotely and traveling Canada is being very lenient only asking for 2 out of 5 years or to remain for 3 years and get citizenship. For 3 years you can have most of your healthcare covered for life.
Actually, I pay taxes each year, and I return to the office to work in Canada occasionally too. It just so happens that I've been spending more time outside of Canada than inside. Also, healthcare is a completely different story. Although it's renowned to be somewhat better than other countries, it's still not that great in my opinion.
