hi, what is the duration of the custodian ship? i mean they charge the pay from the day we land in canada or from the date of application? and until when?

What do you mean charge for custodian ? Not saying that it doesnt happen I have no idea but usually a custodian for a minor is a family friend or relative not a complete stranger.

A named custodian is usually required with a study permit application for under 17s, from 17 to age of majority which varies by province (18or 19) then whether a custodian is required is a decision of the immigration officer.

i donot have anyone in canada that i no. some one in this forum referred me to the canadahomestaynetwork and they charge some amount for custodianship services.i am trying to get in touch with them.
