CUSMA Work Visa Logistics for Healthcare?

I have a job offer in healthcare and am flying to Vancouver next week to obtain a CUSMA Work visa at POE (with all documents), but wanted to confirm:

I did my required medical mid-March, but how can I check that it cleared? The only way I see is to apply online, but would that affect my POE application? Or can I apply for my work permit online then complete it at the airport?
