Currently with Closed work permit how can i change to Open work permit

Hi,

I am currently having a Closed work permit with an Organization in Toronto with Case type - 52. Recently, my spouse got an open work permit with case type - 54.
Currently my contract would be ending by the end of the year and I haven't planned anything yet for the PR.
I am looking for a suggestion from any one stating how Can i convert my Closed work permit to Open. Please let me know is there any chance to do that.

Open work permits are only available under certain circumstances. If you apply for PR under Express Entry for example, receive ITA (i.e. are selected out of the pool) and then submit your application and it's accepted - then you can apply for a Bridging Open Work Permit. Have you looked at the Express Entry program? Do you qualify? Do you know how many points you have?

My spouse is in Canada on Intra company transfer. I am in India. Can you please tell me how to calculate the points to apply PR. There are many links and I am not sure which one to look into. And also, please suggest me if I also can contribute some points.
