Hello all.

Need your help. Currently i m in US (Dayton-OHIO) and want to visit my sister in Vancouver. I dont think, there is any embessy in OHIO. Please let me know what should I do.

I dont want to go to Newyork, just for visa coz I can not take leave on any working day.

Is it possible to send all the documents through mail. Also, Do I require to send my passport to embessy for visa and is it safe to send it through post/courier.

Please advise.

Thanks & Regards,
SP Singh

You can apply by mail, and yes you need to send the passport. Follow the instructions here: http://www.canadainternational.gc.ca/buffalo/imm/visa_temp.aspx?lang=eng

You can not take leave on B1 visa? Is that not supposed to be a tourist visa? Anyway you can send your application to the Canadian consulate/embassy responsible for your area.

Hope you have a good travel history.

Re: Currently in US on B1 and want to visit my sis in CanadaI

I recently got my Visitor visa approved for myself and wife. My mom is visiting from India soon, how can I add her to my exiting CIC account and get her tourist visa approved so that she can visit with us .

You can't. She has to apply for a visitor visa separately.
