Hello to everyone. I wish to apply as a skilled worker to Canada. I have worked as a claims handler (Noc 1233) in my home country for more than six year as deputy manager, claims, out of which four years fall within the last 10 years. I came to UK for further studies and did my MBA and a certification in insurance. However, I have not been able to get a professional job over here and currently working as a security officer just for survival. Can anyone tell me if there is a negative impact on my application if I am not currently working in the same category against which I am going to claim points??

you can apply, you need 1year experience **from last 10years. you have more than 4years experience (as u said 6years experience) then you get complete points for that.

**experience from last 10years means count from today.

doesnt matter your current job experience.

you have to count total years of experience when you sign all papers.

dontworry you qualified once your experience is over 4eyars and atleast for 1year from last 10years.
current occupation is whatever doent matter.
