I am a visitor visa applicant from the USA. I am interested to know how much it takes IRCC to finalize the passport after received from NY VAC. The NY VAC seems to send no email on any confirmation whether they have received the passport or if I am missing any missing document. I don't know why this has happened to me. But the live chat was a bit helpful. I didn't send the package transmission fees initially and later found the issue and solved it. My application got delayed by 1 week for that reason. So my timeline looks like this:
Application Approved: May 26, 2022
IRCC requested my passport to finalize: May 26, 2022
Sent Passport to IRCC through FEDEX 2-way service: May 27, 2022
Passport Reached to VAC: May 31, 2022
Missing Money order received: June 9, 2022
Passport dispatched to IRCC: June 10, 2022
Application Approved: May 26, 2022
IRCC requested my passport to finalize: May 26, 2022
Sent Passport to IRCC through FEDEX 2-way service: May 27, 2022
Passport Reached to VAC: May 31, 2022
Missing Money order received: June 9, 2022
