Hey guys! I am a Ph.D. student studying in USA, I filled my profile in June 2021, and I started my Ph.D. in September 2021 (it could be done hybrid in-person and remote). I received a letter of interest from Ontario to apply to the PNP. I am concerned that they might reject my application because I am currently a PhD student and I didn't graduate yet. Do you advise me to contact the program officials and ask them about it? Do you think that they might reject me for that reason?

It's not an issue or a reason for rejection. You don't need to contact anyone about this.

I am also a PhD candidate and received an OINP nomination last month. I explained my situation briefly in my personal info.
No need to worry!

Did you have to provide them with proof of enrollment or they don't care because you didn't graduate yet?

Do not need to provide any proof, because since it is not done yet it does not give you points.

I'll graduate in 2 years. I just stated that my current study does not affect my plans to move to Canada and also give information about how it is related to my work. It was really briefly around 3 sentences...

are you talking about OINP phd graduate stream? I was thinking you have to be a graduate to get the nomination. right? or are you talking about a PhD in the USA?
