hi,im asking a question on behalf of a friend,,
the current citizenship law requires 1095 days physically in canada or as a permanent resident of Canada?

The current law to apply for citizenship requires you to have 1095 days of physical presence in Canada. The days are calculated with 0.5 day for Pre-PR time and 1 full day for days after receiving PR. You need to be a PR for 2 full years before you can apply for citizenship.
