I was just doing some research on my family history and I was talking to my father about his family. I know my grandfather was Canadian by birth and immigrated to the US, where my father was born in 1956. It is my understanding that my father would be considered a duel US/Canadian citizen at the time of my birth. I understand under the 2009 amendment, citizenship was limited to only first generation children born abroad, but since I was born in 1983 to a parent considered a Canadian citizen, would I also be considered a Canadian citizen?

Try using this tool from CIC website to determine if you are Canadian citizen or not:
