The most difficult part of the calculation, no matter which method is employed, is getting all the entry and exit dates right.
Also too is that if a PR has been in Canada for 1 minute, it still counts toward PR RO. There is no requirement to show you must stay 24 hours (or pass midnight) in Canada to make it count towards RO.
