Hi! Starting a new post for Cuba Sponsorship (December 2014). There are some good forums already, but when you're early in the process it's a bit discouraging..

Applied December 12 - CPC Mississauga

Anybody else for Cuba in December?

My only luck so far has been the AOR I got a few days ago still waiting for SA. My application was received Nov. 17. So long.. :(

That is long.. but at least you received AOR. Hopefully SA comes quick. Fingers crossed for you :)
I sent a colour copy of our marriage certificate by accident, so I might get the whole thing back and have to start over... Now that would be really long..lol

I hope they wont send everything back to you and just request the original.

I told myself that I won't travel to Cuba during this process, that I will be "patiently" waiting here.. I don't know how that's gonna go.

Really... that must be so hard for you both.

I go as often as possible.. usually every 3 months, even that is torture. Whereabouts in Cuba is your spouse?

It's hard indeed.. he's from Isla de la Juventud. That small isle south of Cuba, double the trouble to get there haha.
Are you from Qc too? It's because I just noticed it on your info box under your name. I live in Qc too and our waiting time is a bit longer because we have to wait for papers to get sent to Qc as well and obtain CSQ. Honestly I am not even 100% sure of that process yet, I'll see once I get the SA.

Yep! Live in Montreal. Yha, the process is a bit longer, but from what I understand it only takes 30 days to receive the CSQ. Hopefully that's true. Sucks that we have to pay more money than anybody else, but not out of the norm for QC. :-)

It must be a pain to get to the Isla Juventud, but must be BEAUTIFUL there. That's super cool! My husband's in Santiago. Flights are more limited than other places, but not so bad. I have a direct both ways in March.
